The European specialist conference on mental health and well-being in circus and performing arts is set to take place on May 28, 2025, behind the iconic AXA tower in Cologne, Germany. This three-day event will offer a diverse programming that includes international highlights, performances, film screenings, talks, live music, DJ sets, and more.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the LATIBUL-CircusGarden Family Day, which will offer family-friendly productions, performances by children and young artists, workshops, and interactive activities.

Julian Vogel will present a performance titled "Ceramic Circus", which explores the theme of time scarcity under performance pressure. Another notable performance will be Melissa Guex's "Down", a dance and rhythmic exploration of what lies beneath the surface, inspired by the legendary hardcore band Fugazi. Guex will also present "Rapunzel", a trash-punk one-woman show that challenges the conventional image of the girl waiting for a prince to rescue her.

The festival will also feature the "360° Shorts", short performances on two open-air stages. To round off the event, there will be a free concert by the Swiss French indie band Creme Solaire, as well as genre-fluid live sets by Fabian Laute and adahsoe.

It's worth noting that in August 2025, the New York City Circus Festival will take place in Bryant Park, New York City. This event, dedicated to celebrating New York City's circus arts, will feature a range of performances including aerial acts, acrobatics, clowning, and a giant Rolly apparatus. The festival is curated by Monique Martin and admission is free.

For those interested in circus dance combining both circus arts and dance, the New York City Circus Festival in Bryant Park on August 16 is the premier event for 2025. It provides a vibrant showcase of circus artistry with free access and a rich lineup of performers.
