PPG Earns AWS Certification for Sustainable Coatings in Europe
PPG’s Architectural Coatings plants in Amsterdam and Søborg have earned AWS Certification2 certification. This recognition confirms the use of sustainable raw materials in their production processes. The certification covers two key European production hubs for PPG. Both sites now verify that biomass-based raw materials are sourced responsibly and tracked through a certified chain of custody. Independent audits ensure compliance with mass-balance accounting, which allocates sustainability benefits to finished products.
