Potsdam's Dutch Quarter Welcomes Le DOUX Souvenir in 2026

A first glimpse of Le DOUX Souvenir, a new boutique hotel, has been revealed in Potsdam's Dutch Quarter. The showroom presents the design and vision for the upcoming property, which aims to merge historic charm with modern luxury. Set to open in summer 2026, the project is taking shape within the listed buildings of the former NH Hotel Voltaire.

The showroom serves as a working model for the hotel's future rooms and public spaces. Visitors can see how the design balances classic elegance with contemporary touches. Around 145 rooms are planned, some housed within the original structure on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße.

Beyond the guest rooms, the hotel will feature dining areas, event spaces, and wellness facilities. A terrace in the rose garden and an open lobby are designed to connect the building with its surroundings. The goal is to create a seamless blend of heritage and modern comfort. The former NH Hotel Voltaire, a protected ensemble, is being repurposed rather than rebuilt. Developers are preserving key architectural elements while introducing fresh design concepts. The showroom itself reflects this approach, offering a preview of the final result.

With its mix of preserved history and new design, Le DOUX Souvenir is set to become a distinctive addition to Potsdam's hospitality scene. The showroom provides a clear idea of what guests can expect when the hotel opens its doors in 2026. Public and private spaces will work together to create a cohesive experience for visitors.
