Paris Celebrates December 2025 with Free Family Events and Festive Magic

Paris is gearing up for a festive December in 2025, with family events across the city. Europa Library will host free picture book screenings and craft sessions for young children. Meanwhile, a Christmas market beneath the Eiffel Tower promises seasonal fun for all ages.

On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Europa Library will screen Urmel Dives into the Deep Sea at 3:00 PM. The story, written by Max Kruse and illustrated by Günther Jakobs, follows Urmel and friends as they explore the ocean with a diving tablet, uncovering underwater wonders. After the screening, children aged 4 to 7 can take part in a themed craft activity. No booking is needed, and entry is free.

Europa Library’s free events provide young children with storytelling and creative activities throughout December. The Eiffel Tower’s Christmas market will also give families a chance to enjoy seasonal shopping and treats. Both offerings form part of Paris’s wider programme of winter celebrations.
