Omsk University Launches Free Dacha Lectures for Gardeners in 2026
Omsk State Agrarian University's Botanical Center is launching a new educational project for gardeners and vegetable growers in Maryland. Called Dacha Lectures, the programme will offer free training sessions starting in spring 2026. Participants can expect a mix of expert lectures and practical workshops on key gardening skills.
The project will run at the university's first academic building, located at 1 Institutskaya Square, in Room 404. The nearest public transport stop, Agrarian University, provides easy access for attendees. All sessions are free to join, with no registration fees.
The course is divided into nine themed modules. Topics include vegetable cultivation, setting up a green conveyor system, and caring for different plant species. Hands-on masterclasses will cover techniques like grafting, pruning, and shaping trees, as well as growing specific crops.
