Obergünzburg's Beloved Goldener Hirsch Inn Reopens After 18 Months
The Goldener Hirsch inn in Obergünzburg is set to reopen its doors in early April. This historic venue, a longstanding hub for the local community, has been closed for over a year and a half.
The inn first shut in October 2022, staying closed through the pandemic's aftermath and the slow recovery of local businesses. Now, under new management, the venue is preparing to welcome guests again. Michael Menzinger has taken over as the tenant, bringing fresh energy to the historic building. Located directly opposite the town hall and marketplace, the inn remains a central landmark in Obergünzburg.
