Nizhny Novgorod Library Hosts Free New Year’s Art Workshops for Kids
The M.M. Prishvin Library in Nizhny Novgorod is hosting free New Year’s art workshops for children this weekend. Two creative sessions will take place on January 12 and 13, offering hands-on activities for different age groups. Registration is open now, but spaces must be booked in advance by phone.
On January 12, the library will run an unusual workshop called Snowmen from Ded Morozovka for children of all ages. Participants will learn to paint winter-themed art using cotton swabs and sponge techniques. The session is designed to be playful and accessible, even for very young attendees.
The following day, January 13, older children aged six and above can join Lace Stars. This workshop focuses on crafting delicate paper snowflakes with intricate cutwork. Both events will be held at the library’s address on 17 Gleb Uspensky Street. Admission to all sessions is free, but organisers require prior registration. Families can secure a place by calling +7 (831) 258-10-60. The library itself has arranged the master classes as part of its seasonal programme.
The workshops provide a chance for children to explore creative skills in a festive setting. With no entry fee, the events aim to bring families together for hands-on holiday fun. Those interested must register soon to guarantee a spot.
