New Priwall Loop Trail Blends Nature and Maritime Views in Scenic Walk

A new 4.4 km loop trail has opened on the Priwall, offering scenic views of the Trave River and the bustling Skandinavienkai ferry terminal. Designed for both nature lovers and dog owners, the route winds through the Südlicher Priwall Nature Reserve, combining maritime sights with peaceful woodland walks.

The trail begins at the Wiekstraße bus stop and follows wooden boardwalks and bridges through the protected reserve. As it loops back, walkers pass the Skandinavienkai—the Baltic Sea’s largest news port—where they can pause to watch cargo ships and ferries in action.

The new path offers a mix of nature and maritime scenery in a short, accessible loop. With its gentle terrain and dog-friendly design, it provides a convenient outdoor option for locals and tourists alike. The city encourages responsible use to preserve the reserve’s natural beauty.
