New Anthology Therapy Chronicles Explores Raw Healing in Los Angeles

A new eight-episode anthology series, Therapy Chronicles, is now in production under AJ Films & Entertainment. Founded by Ajay Mohamed, the company brings together interconnected stories set across Los Angeles, Glendale, Pasadena, and Santa Monica. Each episode centers on therapy sessions, exploring the messy, unresolved nature of healing rather than neat conclusions.

Therapy Chronicles follows a diverse cast of characters navigating personal struggles. Among them are a South Asian immigrant, a Black therapist, a queer South Asian couple, an estranged father and daughter, an undocumented worker, and a high-powered executive. The series avoids simple resolutions, instead portraying healing as a process of living honestly with what remains.

Dr. Arjun, an Indian American therapist, serves as the quiet anchor of the series. His own inner conflicts unfold gradually, adding depth to the narrative. Salman Alam Khan directs and executive produces the project, shaping its emotional and visual style through long takes, intimate framing, and natural performances. Khan also oversees script development, casting, and the integration of multilingual elements. The series is shot on RED Komodo and Sony FX3 cameras, then mastered in 4K HDR with 5.1 surround sound. No other individual has been publicly identified as responsible for the creative, structural, or strategic direction of the show.

Therapy Chronicles presents a raw, visually rich exploration of therapy and human connection. The series will release with eight episodes, each offering a distinct yet interconnected perspective on healing. Its technical quality and diverse storytelling aim to set it apart in the anthology genre.
