New Anthology Explores Faith, Doubt, and the Mysterious in Meerbusch

A new anthology from the Schreibwerkstatt-Meerbusch writing workshop has just been released. The collection explores deep themes like faith, doubt, and the mysterious. Inside, readers will find reflections on existential questions alongside stories of wonder and belief. The book features work from seven local writers: Andrea Heckelei, Elma Ferchland, Katja Ollig, Marlies Blauth, Rolf Kaulmann, Uta Huthmann, and Ute Schröder. Their pieces were carefully compiled and printed by Dortmunder Buch, a publishing house known for its quality layouts.

The cover artwork, titled *The Eternal Garden*, comes from Osterath artist Elma Ferchland. Her design depicts a vision of paradise, setting the tone for the book's thoughtful content. Priced at €11, the anthology is now available in bookshops under ISBN 978-3-912328-09-7. Funding for the project came from Stadtwerke Meerbusch, allowing the workshop to produce a second publication. The group continues to meet monthly, welcoming anyone interested in literature. Sessions are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Evangelical Community Center on Alte Poststraße 15 in Osterath.

The anthology marks another milestone for Schreibwerkstatt-Meerbusch. With financial support secured and a new book in circulation, the workshop remains active and open to new participants. Copies can be purchased through local bookshops or ordered via the ISBN provided.
