New 7km Loop Walk Near Lübeck Blends Heathland and Lake Views

This 7-kilometer loop starting at Sankt Hubertus takes you through the Grönauer Heide heathland and the Grönauer Moor bog, all the way to Blankensee. The route is easy to navigate, making it ideal for dog owners looking for a natural and varied walk.

Location and Access

Starting point: Sankt Hubertus, Lübeck. The area is accessible by bus or car, though parking is limited.

The trail primarily follows well-maintained natural and gravel paths, with some sections on asphalt or paved walkways. Highlights include an elevated rest stop with a bench offering a stunning view of Blankensee, as well as the scenic stretches through the heath and bog. Dogs can explore and sniff freely while their owners enjoy the surroundings.

The route is mostly flat and suitable for all fitness levels. The paths are quiet and rarely crowded, making the walk especially relaxing for both dogs and humans.
