A new service is launching to help seniors with smartphone problems. The Repair Café in Neuwied will run an 'Open Mobile Clinic' starting in March, offering free technical support. Registration is now open for those who need assistance.
The Repair Café, organised by ReThink e.V., already provides monthly help for broken household items and clothing. These sessions take place on the fourth Wednesday of every month at different locations. The next event in Neuwied will be on Wednesday, April 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hauptstraße 29, Heimbach-Weis.
Before that, another session is scheduled for **Wednesday, March 25**, from 6 to 8 p.m. at **Rheintalweg 14**. Additionally, a separate Repair Café operates in **Mayen**, about 30 km away, with its next event on **March 20** from 3 to 5 p.m. at the **Familienbildungsstätte, Bäckerstraße 12**. For the new 'Open Mobile Clinic', seniors can register by calling the neighbourhood office at **02631/863 070** or emailing **stadtteilbuero@ourwebsite**. The service aims to make technology more accessible for older residents.
The 'Open Mobile Clinic' will provide free smartphone help to seniors from March onwards. Registration is required through the given contact details. Meanwhile, the regular Repair Café sessions continue in Neuwied and Mayen for general repairs.
