Münster’s ‘Pay What You Think’ Market Returns with Second-Hand Treasures for Charity
Münster’s waste management company, awm, is returning to Harsewinkelplatz for its fourth annual 'X-MS' market. The event, running on December 1 and 2, invites visitors to buy second-hand goods under the 'Pay What You Think It’s Worth' scheme. All money raised will support Münster Tafel, a charity providing food to those in need.
The market will offer a variety of donated items, including board games, sports gear, and musical instruments. This year’s standout piece is a fully functional violin, ready for a new owner. Many goods come from exchange corners at the city’s recycling centers, as well as personal donations from awm staff.
The 'Pay What You Think It’s Worth' market runs for two days at Harsewinkelplatz. Every purchase will directly fund Münster Tafel’s food aid programs. The event also highlights how reusing goods can help reduce waste in the community.
