Münster’s Free Repair Café Tackles E-Waste on November 19

Münster residents are invited to a free Repair Café for electrical appliances on November 19. The event, held at the House of Sustainability from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., requires no registration. It's part of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR), with this year's theme being 'Repair Instead of Throw Away: Preventing E-Waste'.

Helmut Kleebank started the Repair Café initiative in Münster. Residents can bring their broken electrical devices to the event, where volunteer experts will help repair them. The Repair Café aligns with the EWWR's goal of reducing waste, especially electronic waste. By fixing items instead of discarding them, the event encourages a more sustainable approach to consumerism.

The Repair Café in Münster offers a chance to extend the life of electrical appliances, saving both money and resources. It's a practical way to participate in waste management efforts during the European Week for Waste Reduction.
