Art from Balloons - A World Tour through Colorful Sculptures - Munich's Balloon Worlds Transforms 500,000 Balloons Into Giant Art

A striking new exhibition has opened in Munich, turning simple balloons into towering works of art. Balloon Worlds showcases animals, plants, and famous landmarks—some reaching up to eight metres high. The event runs from February 14 to April 12 at Pineapple Park.

The displays at Balloon Worlds were built using over 500,000 balloons. Each creation, from intricate animals to detailed landmarks, relies entirely on these colourful materials. Despite their size, the structures remain lightweight and flexible.

Environmental concerns were also addressed. Every balloon in the exhibition is fully compostable, ensuring no lasting waste. The organisers aimed to combine creativity with sustainability in this large-scale project.

The exhibition transforms an everyday object into something extraordinary. Visitors can explore the displays until April 12. Pineapple Park hosts the event, offering a unique experience for all ages.
