'Mondays in March' gardening series returns to Delaware County next month

The popular 'Mondays in March' gardening series is set to return next month in Delaware County. Organised by ISU Extension and Outreach Delaware County Master Gardeners, the event welcomes gardeners, plant lovers, and community members of all skill levels.

The free series will take place every Monday evening at 7 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester. Attendees can expect talks on a range of topics, including Prairie Plants, Success with Seeds, and Utilising Plants for Health & Wellness. Other sessions will cover growing pumpkins, gourds, and squash, as well as flowering shrubs and trees.

A small suggested donation of $3 will be collected at the door. The funds raised will go towards supporting local Master Gardener initiatives and future programming.

The series aims to provide practical knowledge for both beginners and experienced gardeners. With a variety of topics scheduled, participants will have the chance to learn new skills and connect with fellow plant enthusiasts. Doors open each Monday at 7 p.m. in Manchester.
