Meißen invites residents to shape cycling and pedestrian projects in public Zoom meeting

A public zoom meeting on cycling and pedestrian improvements in Meißen will take place on Tuesday, December 2. The event runs from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and invites residents to share their views on upcoming projects.

Residents can contribute ideas on cycling infrastructure, pedestrian safety, and active mobility planning for the city.

The Cycling and Pedestrian Traffic Working Group will lead the discussions. Key topics include plans for the station forecourt and the Großenhainer Straße intersection. The redesign of the Gerbergasse junction will also be reviewed.

Updates on the 2025 StadtRadeln campaign and the European Mobility Week action day are on the agenda. Additionally, improvements to Zscheilaer Straße (Schulberg) will be addressed during the zoom meeting.

The zoom meeting aims to gather public input on these projects before final decisions are made. All Meißen residents are welcome to attend and participate in the discussions.

The zoom meeting provides an opportunity for locals to influence cycling and pedestrian developments in Meißen. Decisions made could shape future infrastructure and mobility initiatives across the city. Further details will be shared after the zoom meeting concludes.
