Meet Angie Johnson: Dietitian, Coach, and Balloon Decor Master
Angie Johnson, a dedicated dietitian and volleyball coach, has found a creative outlet in her thriving balloon decor business, 701 Balloon Decor. She offers customizable displays for various occasions, from corporate events to personal celebrations like birthdays and graduations.
Johnson's journey in the balloon decor industry began in 2022 as Above and Beyond Balloons, a co-owned venture. In 2023, she took sole ownership and renamed it 701 Balloon Decor. Her expertise has led her to create stunning displays for prominent clients such as Caterpillar, the 44 Venue, Planet Fitness, and even celebrities like Pink and Josh Duhamel.
She recently spent Homecoming week crafting arches and inflating balloons in green and gold for NDSU's Bison Bash. Despite her busy schedule, which includes full-time work at Sanford Health and coaching volleyball at Oak Grove High School, Johnson ensures her balloon business thrives. She offers 'grab-and-go' garlands for simpler events or smaller budgets, with custom displays ranging from $75 to $300.
Johnson's busiest season is graduation, with bookings for the next year's grad season already open. She educates her clients about lighting, weather, and balloon quality to guarantee optimal display results.
701 Balloon Decor, under Angie Johnson's sole ownership, has become a go-to for customizable balloon decor. With a wide range of services and a commitment to quality, Johnson balances her passion for balloon art with her professional and coaching duties, making every event a celebration to remember.
