Master the Art of Grafting at This Hands-On February Workshop
A full-day grafting workshop will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Fischbach Outdoor Education Center. The event runs from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM and is open to both beginners and those with prior experience in grafting.
The workshop will teach all standard grafting techniques using willow shoots. Participants will receive expert guidance and one-on-one coaching throughout the session. There will be plenty of time to practice and refine each method.
At the end of the day, each attendee will choose a rootstock and a scion from a nursery to graft their own tree. They will then take home their newly grafted sapling. A detailed 10-page guide will also be provided for review and further study.
