Mary Struk Wise, 95, leaves a legacy of faith and family devotion
Mary Struk Wise, a long-standing member of Boehm’s Church in Willow Street, has passed away at the age of 95. She died on December 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of devotion to her family, faith, and community.
Born in Bath, New York, Mary was the daughter of Demetro and Anna (Kozay) Struk. She spent over 50 years as an active member of Boehm’s Church, where she volunteered her skills in art and interior design.
Mary shared a lifelong marriage with Franklyn 'Frank' Wise, who passed away in 2016 after 64 years together. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Patton and her sister Helen Scouten. Her surviving family includes her daughter Carol L. Noll, granddaughter Jessica Brubaker, and great-grandchildren Collin and Ivy. A viewing will be held at the church on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 11 AM to 1 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1 PM, with interment in the church’s adjoining cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Hospice & Community Care in Mary’s name.
Mary’s life was marked by her deep commitment to her ancestry and her church. The service at Boehm’s Church will honour her memory, with friends and loved ones gathering to celebrate her 95 years of faith, creativity, and love.
