Marsh McLennan Names Andrea Bono as New IMEA CEO
Marsh McLennan has appointed Andrea Bono as the new CEO of its India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) region, effective January 2026. Bono brings over three decades of experience to the role, with a career spanning various senior positions within Marsh.
Bono began his journey in London before joining Marsh in 2010 as the Head of Marsh Italy’s Risk Management Practice. He then held several senior roles, including co-General Manager and co-CEO of Marsh Italy, CEO of the Eastern Mediterranean Region in 2021, and CEO of Marsh McLennan Italy in 2023. In his new role, Bono will focus on delivering Marsh McLennan's specialized capabilities across risk, reinsurance, capital, people and investments, and management consulting.
Flavio Piccolomini, CEO of Marsh McLennan International, expressed confidence in Bono's appointment. He noted that the IMEA region holds significant growth potential and Bono's extensive experience makes him well-suited to lead the region's operations. Bono will be based in Dubai and report directly to Piccolomini.
