Get ready for a fun-filled week as the Bruchmarkt and Summer Fair returns to Detmold from the 18th to the 21st of July! The event will be held in the Bruchberg and Rosental event area, promising a thrilling experience for all ages.
Over 40 vendors will be present, offering a diverse range of goods, from unique trinkets to delicious treats. Food stalls will cater to every taste, selling donuts, roasted almonds, crepes, churros, and various dishes and beverages.
For those seeking excitement, the fair offers a variety of rides. Take a spin on the Auto-Skooter, Biene Maja, Kindersportkarussell, or test your skills at ball and arrow throwing and a shooting gallery.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, safety measures will be in place with barriers and entry controls. The Rosental bus stop will be temporarily relocated to Doktorweg during the fair.
To avoid traffic congestion, motorists are advised to avoid the affected inner-city area and use alternative parking spaces at Lustgarten (P1), Kronenplatz (P7), and Wotanstraße/Parkhaus am Finanzamt (P9). Access to the parking garage of the business building Lange Str. 73 will remain possible via Woldemarstraße during the closure.
Rosental will be closed to traffic from the 16th of July, 7 pm, to the 22nd, 10 am. The affected area will stretch from Doktorweg to Leopoldstraße. The Rosental area will also be closed during the event.
