Maison&Objet 2026 Unveils Past Reveals Future as Its Visionary Theme

Maison&Objet, the leading Parisian trade fair for decoration, design, and lifestyle, has announced its 2026 edition. Running from 15 to 19 January, the main event will take place across seven exhibition halls at Paris Nord Villepinte. This year’s theme, Past Reveals Future, sets the stage for fresh trends in global design.

The fair is curated by two prominent figures in contemporary design: Sam Baron and Élise Berthier. Baron, founder of Paris-based Studio Félicité, and Berthier, director of Studio Superdesign, will present their creative manifestos for the January showcase. Their collaboration aims to shape the event's artistic direction and highlight emerging movements in the industry.

Held twice a year, Maison&Objet remains a key fixture on the international design calendar. Each edition brings together a diverse, global community of creators, brands, and buyers. The fair’s organisers describe it as a living platform that evolves annually, offering renewed inspiration and relevance. The 2026 programme spans six curated sectors, from furniture and textiles to innovative lifestyle concepts. Exhibitors and visitors will explore how historical influences can inform future design, aligning with the chosen theme. The event continues to serve as a launchpad for trends that ripple through the industry globally.

With its expansive venue and forward-thinking theme, Maison&Objet 2026 promises to be a pivotal gathering for design professionals. The fair’s mix of established names and rising talent will showcase how tradition and innovation intersect. Next January’s edition will once again set the tone for the year ahead in global design.
