Luxman commemorates its centennial with the introduction of two premium hi-fi components and a luxurious, exclusive limited edition set.

**Luxman Celebrates 100 Years with New Amplifiers and Special Edition Products**

Japanese audio brand Luxman, joining a select group including Bang & Olufsen, Philips, and next year's Tannoy, is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the introduction of three new hi-fi products and a special edition package.

At the heart of these new offerings is Luxman's innovative LIFES (Luxman Integrated Feedback Engine System) technology, a new generation amplifier feedback system that promises to enhance sound quality by minimising distortion and providing a natural, high-fidelity listening experience.

The LIFES technology is featured in Luxman's new P-100 Centennial headphone amplifier and various other products, including the L-507Z amplifier. This technology achieves an excellent, dynamic performance without feeding back the original audio input signal to the main amplifier, delivering a sound quality that is remarkably natural, almost as if it were a non-feedback circuit.

The P-100 Centennial, priced at £9000, is a headphone amplifier with fully balanced circuitry and four discrete amplifiers. It is designed to drive any pair of headphones and offers various output options, including 6.3mm, balanced 4-pin XLR, 4.4mm, and 3-pin XLR connectors.

In addition to the P-100, Luxman has also introduced the E-07 phono preamplifier, priced at £5500. The E-07 features carefully selected components prioritised for supreme audio quality, including custom-developed components that have undergone extensive listening tests. It offers load impedance adjustments for moving coil and moving magnet cartridges, as well as a load capacitance selector.

The E-07 phono preamplifier has a mono mode for playing mono records, a phase inversion switch for the balanced outputs, and a low-cut switch to help reduce the unwanted low-frequency effects of warped records. It also supports balanced inputs and has a newly developed step-up transformer for MC cartridges, improving left-right stereo separation.

Four of Luxman's current products - the L-509Z integrated amplifier, the D-07X CD/SACD player, the NT-07 network transport, and the PD-151 MkII turntable - are available in a limited Centennial Black Edition finish. The E-07 phono preamplifier has an articulator function to defeat magnetization of the cartridge and MC transformer.

The Centennial Black Edition units are only available as a four-piece system, priced at £35,000. All Luxman Centennial products are available to buy in the UK now.

With the LIFES technology, Luxman's new amplifier products offer reduced distortion, enhanced musicality, and a natural sound quality that sets them apart in the market. The P-100 Centennial headphone amplifier, in particular, is a standout for headphone amplification in celebration of Luxman’s 100th anniversary.
