Local tourist information collaborates with unwrapped retail stores
In a recent development, the Unpackaged Shop Pforzheim and the Tourist Information Office have formed a sustainable partnership aimed at supporting the retail trade and making Pforzheim a more sustainable and fairer city.
Sascha Giese, the owner of the Unpackaged Shop, is particularly pleased with the collaboration, as it now makes their "PFair" shirts available at the Tourist Information Office. The "PFair" brand, a combination of "Pforzheim" and "fair," represents a commitment to producing eco-friendly and socially responsible products.
The "PFair" T-shirts, priced at 25 euros each, are made from 100% organic cotton and produced vegan, biologically, and fairly. They are available in burgundy, navy blue, and mint green.
Meanwhile, the Unpackaged Shop Pforzheim offers a range of products under the "PFair" brand, including the "Pforzheim Bread Box," the "PF Wooden Board," the "PF Cooking Spoon," and a fabric bag with Pforzheim terms.
Isabell Prior, head of tourism marketing, emphasizes that the goal of this partnership is to make Pforzheim more sustainable. She adds that with the purchase of a "PFair" shirt, 5 euros goes to a social project in the city of Pforzheim.
The Tourist Information Office in Pforzheim also offers products made from renewable resources. By making these "PFair" T-shirts available to guests, they aim to encourage visitors to support sustainable and fair practices during their stay in the city.
This partnership is a significant step towards making Pforzheim a more sustainable and fair city. With both the Unpackaged Shop and the Tourist Information Office working together, it is hoped that more people will be inspired to make eco-friendly and socially responsible choices.
