Learn to Prune Fruit Trees for Bigger Harvests at Free Celle Workshop
A free workshop on fruit tree pruning will be held in Celle on Friday, March 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is part of the city's 'Time for Green' series and aims to teach proper techniques for young fruit trees, helping them to produce fruit earlier and in greater quantities.
The session will take place at the Klein Hehlen Orchard Meadow, near An der Beeke and Tribuhnenbusch. Markus Poensgen, a qualified horticultural technician, will guide participants through essential pruning methods.
Anyone wishing to attend must register in advance. Sign-ups can be completed online at www.celle-heilpflanzengarten.de, by email at heilpflanzengarten@ourwebsite, or by phone at (05141) 12 67 20.
The Heilpflanzengarten Celle has planned more events in the 'Time for Green' series for the coming months. On March 15, 2026, herbalist Anna Müller will lead a workshop on processing medicinal plants. A guided garden tour and planting day follows on April 12, 2026, in Celle. The series concludes with a sustainability workshop on May 10, 2026, where Dr. Lena Schmidt will discuss ecological gardening practices.
The pruning workshop offers practical skills for gardeners and fruit growers. Registration is open now, with multiple ways to secure a spot. Further details on upcoming events can be found through the Heilpflanzengarten's official channels.
