Learn Fruit Tree Pruning and Build Nesting Boxes at Franzigmark's March Events
The BUND Environmental Center Franzigmark is hosting two events on March 1, 2023. A workshop on fruit tree pruning will run alongside a Family Open Day featuring a nesting box activity. Both events require registration in advance.
The fruit tree pruning workshop, titled Professional Fruit Tree Pruning for Healthy Trees and Bountiful Harvests in Your Garden, will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM. Instructors Levin Consior and Maik Wittig will guide participants through the session. All necessary tools and materials will be provided, and refreshments will be available. The cost to attend is €15 per person.
On the same day, the Family Open Day will run from 11 AM to 4 PM. Attendees can take part in a nesting box workshop, where each handcrafted nesting aid will cost €8 for materials. Registration is mandatory for both events.
Those interested in either workshop must email [email protected] to secure their place.
The events offer hands-on learning for gardening and wildlife support. The pruning workshop aims to teach skills for healthier fruit trees, while the Family Open Day provides a chance to build nesting boxes. Both activities will take place at the BUND Environmental Center Franzigmark on March 1.
