Krefeld's Autumn Art Scene Buzzes with 300+ Works & Collaborations
Krefeld's art scene is abuzz with activity this autumn. An exhibition, set to run from November 5 to December 3, will showcase over 300 artworks, offering a unique glimpse into the creative minds of local students. The display, housed in the gatehouse of Fabrik Heeder, reflects individual perspectives and artistic experimentation.
The exhibition, titled 'Krefeld Atelier Exhibition', is a collaborative effort between students and practitioners from various art forms. It is supported by Krefeld’s Office of Culture and features a new creative concept that combines studio artists with musicians, writers, and theatre practitioners.
Twelve design students have contributed to the program booklet for the 2025/2026 season of Theater Krefeld-Mönchengladbach, further demonstrating the city's commitment to nurturing young talent. Visitors can explore the works of around 30 artists across nine locations during the open studio tours on Sundays, November 2 and 9, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Krefeld Atelier Exhibition is not just an art exhibition; it's a celebration of creativity and collaboration. With the support of the City of Krefeld's Culture Office, this event offers a rare opportunity to engage with local artists and their work.
