Kaufland footbridge closes for urgent repairs this week

A small footbridge connecting Kaufland and Welle Parking Lot will close for repairs from Wednesday, December 10. The work is set to last between three and four days, causing temporary disruption for pedestrians and cyclists.

The renovation focuses on replacing the wooden plank decking while keeping the existing steel structure in place. During this period, the crossing over the ditch will remain closed to all foot and bike traffic.

The bridge will reopen once the new composite decking is installed. Until then, users must follow the designated alternative route. No further details about the contractors or additional works have been provided.
