Kärcher Launches Autonomous Robot and Compact Mop for Industrial Cleaning
Kärcher has unveiled two new floor cleaning solutions designed for logistics and industrial spaces. The KIRA B 200 is an autonomous scrubber-dryer robot built for large warehouses, while the K-Mop 46 offers a compact, upright alternative for tight areas. Both systems aim to streamline cleaning in high-demand environments.
The company will present these innovations at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart, where automation and hygiene in intralogistics will take centre stage.
The KIRA B 200 operates independently, using a multi-sensor system to navigate warehouses and avoid obstacles. It cleans predefined zones without human input, making it ideal for distribution centres and production sites with strict hygiene rules. A 200-litre fresh water tank and up to four hours of battery life allow for extended operation.
The robot integrates with automated logistics setups via the VDA 5050 communication standard. This lets it coordinate with driverless transport systems, smart doors, and other infrastructure. After each shift, it autonomously docks at a charging station, where it drains waste water, rinses its tanks, and refills with clean water. This reduces daily maintenance needs and keeps downtime short.
For smaller or crowded spaces, Kärcher introduces the K-Mop 46. This upright scrubber-dryer replaces traditional mop-and-bucket cleaning with a more efficient system. Its ergonomic handle adjusts to different user heights, cutting physical strain. Simple, language-free controls ensure quick adoption with minimal training.
The K-Mop 46 combines suction and brush technology to deliver consistent results while using less water. Its design targets narrow aisles and tightly packed areas where larger machines struggle to reach.
At LogiMAT 2026, held from March 24 to 26 in Stuttgart's Hall 10, Kärcher will highlight how these solutions balance hygiene, performance, and automation. Visitors can explore the KIRA B 200 and K-Mop 46 at Stand 10H80.
The KIRA B 200 has already seen increased use in logistics centres worldwide, lowering labour costs and improving efficiency. Its ability to work alongside automated systems and handle large areas makes it a practical choice for modern warehouses. Meanwhile, the K-Mop 46 offers a simpler, more adaptable option for confined spaces—both reflecting Kärcher's push toward smarter, more automated cleaning.
