Karan Singh Grover transforms his Toyota Hilux into a rugged camper pickup
A well-known Indian actor has turned his Toyota Hilux into a rugged camper pickup. Karan Singh Grover worked with WrapZilla to modify the vehicle for adventure trips. The transformation includes an enclosed rear bed and a striking new look.
The project started with a standard Toyota Hilux, known for its tough build and off-road ability. Grover chose to reinforce the structure and add a custom camper shell at the back. This enclosed space now provides shelter for camping while keeping the truck’s rugged nature.
The exterior received a bold maroon wrap, giving it a distinctive appearance. Under the hood, the Hilux retains its powerful 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine, producing around 224hp. This setup ensures the vehicle remains capable both on and off the road.
Grover is not the only actor with a passion for custom cars. Prakash Raj, another prominent figure in Indian cinema, is also known for his love of unique vehicle modifications. His own Toyota Hilux, also worked on by WrapZilla, reflects a similar taste for adventure-ready designs.
The modified Toyota Hilux now stands out with its camping features and bold styling. Grover’s vehicle joins a growing trend of customised trucks built for both travel and off-road use. The project highlights how practical vehicles can be adapted for personal adventures.
