Karaganda’s New Mural Sparks Environmental Awareness Through Art
A striking new mural has emerged in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, serving as a powerful reminder of our responsibility towards our environment. The artwork, dedicated to the nationwide environmental campaign Taza Qazaqstan, has been brought to life by young artist Bota Zhomart. Bota Zhomart, a talented local artist, spent around two weeks meticulously crafting this masterpiece. Despite facing obstacles like technical glitches with the projector and unfavourable weather, Zhomart persevered, driven by his passion for the cause. The Youth Resource Center in Karaganda provided support throughout the project. The mural, located in a prominent spot in the city, features volunteers from the Zhasyl El ('Green Nation') movement tending to the greenery in Karaganda. It's a vivid depiction of the love and care that should be shown towards our environment. Bota Zhomart's mural stands as a testament to the power of art in raising awareness about environmental issues. It serves as a constant reminder to the people of Karaganda of the importance of a responsible attitude towards nature, echoing the spirit of the Taza Qazaqstan campaign.
