Kaizen Gaming partners with Fluminense FC to dominate Brazil's betting market
Kaizen Gaming has expanded its reach in Brazilian football through a new partnership with Fluminense FC. The deal, announced in mid-2024, will see the company's Stoiximan brand displayed on players' jerseys during matches, starting with the Brazilian Cup. This move follows a broader push by the firm to strengthen its presence in the region.
The collaboration also comes as Brazil prepares to regulate its sports gambling market, with tax revenues earmarked for social security, health, and education.
Kaizen Gaming's Stoiximan brand had previously worked with Atlético Mineiro from 2023 to 2024. However, the shift to Fluminense marks a more aggressive strategy. The Rio de Janeiro club boasts a larger fanbase and recent success, including a 2023 Copa Libertadores victory. Under the new deal, Stoiximan's logo will feature on Fluminense's kits, while social media campaigns involving players like André and Ganso will further boost visibility.
Fan engagement events at Maracanã Stadium and targeted digital ads are also part of the plan. By early 2026, these efforts are expected to generate over 5 million impressions. Fluminense's president, Mário Bittencourt, welcomed the partnership, calling it a positive step for the club's commercial growth.
Beyond Brazil, Kaizen Gaming's subsidiary, Betano, has secured a licence to enter the German market. The company, known for its strong ties in Latin America, has reaffirmed its commitment to responsible gaming as part of its expansion strategy.
The deal coincides with Brazil's push to legalise sports betting. A proposal from the Plenary of the Chamber of Deputies outlines tax allocations for public services, including education and healthcare. Betano's involvement with Fluminense aligns with this evolving regulatory landscape, reinforcing its position in the region for future marketing campaigns.
The partnership between Kaizen Gaming and Fluminense FC will increase brand exposure through jersey sponsorships and digital campaigns. Tax revenues from Brazil's emerging gambling sector will fund key public services. With Betano also expanding into Germany, the company's growth strategy spans multiple markets while maintaining a focus on social responsibility.
