Jupiter Square Blooms With 30 Chestnut Trees Planted by Community
Jupiter Square has been transformed with the planting of 30 chestnut trees, a community effort led by schoolchildren and educators. The event, held ahead of Teacher's Day, saw over 50 participants come together to enhance the recently landscaped square.
The tree planting event was a significant moment for Jupiter Square, which was restored and landscaped in 2023 as part of a national project. Sergei Lukoyanov, the administrator of the Lenin District, had announced the restoration. The chestnut trees, chosen for their hardiness and beauty, were planted by eager young hands, along with the guidance of educators and kindergarten teachers. The event brought together not just students and teachers, but also local residents, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility for the square's future.
The 30 chestnut trees now stand as a symbol of growth and unity in Jupiter Square. The tree planting event was more than just an environmental initiative; it was a celebration of community spirit and a commitment to preserving the square's new beauty for generations to come.
