Join WABI Weekday Walkers for a Fall Stroll in Longacres Natural Area

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 9 a.m., a group called WABI Weekday Walkers will gather at the Tukwila Sounders Train Station for a guided walk through the Longacres Natural Area. The meeting place is at the foot of the stairs to the train platform in the station's parking lot.

The walk, set to begin promptly at 9:00 a.m., will cover a 2.25-mile loop that takes about an hour to complete. Participants are advised to arrive 5-10 minutes early. The route will take walkers through the 158-acre Longacres Natural Area, once home to the Longacres Racetrack and later a Boeing office park. The area offers opportunities for birding and wildlife viewing, with a flat, paved pathway and a segment of the Springbrook trail. Pets are not allowed on the trails during this walk.

The WABI Weekday Walkers invite you to join them for a beautiful fall stroll through the Longacres Natural Area. The walk starts at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Tukwila Sounders Train Station. Arrive 5-10 minutes early to meet the group at the foot of the stairs to the train platform in the parking lot.
