Join a scenic lakeside stroll with WABI Weekday Walkers in Burien
Join the WABI Weekday Walkers for a delightful stroll through Burien on Thursday, November 19, 2025. The walk begins at 10 a.m. outside the Burien library, near the SW 152nd Street entrance. It starts at the Burien Town Center, meanders through part of Gregory Heights, and circles around the scenic lake. Along the way, you'll enjoy peek-a-boo glimpses of the historic lake. Plus, there are optional stops for coffee, cookies, and cupcakes to sweeten your walk back. The event is organized by the WABI (Washington Active Brain Initiative) group and is open to walkers of every level and ability. Even your furry friends are welcome to join, making it a perfect outing for the whole family or a great way to meet new people. So mark your calendars for November 19th and get ready to enjoy a fun, active morning in Burien. The WABI Weekday Walkers look forward to seeing you there!
