In an exclusive interview with the "South Kurier", she revealed her plans to step down, leaving behind two and a half incredible decades of stewardship. "I ain't sure what the future holds for me," she admitted, "but I'm more than ready for a fresh challenge."

Biddin' Adieu: A Mixed Emotion

Bettina Countess Bernadotte shared that her decision to retire was her own, but it doesn't make it any less daunting. "This is one big bloody change, not just professionally, but emotionally too," she admitted. "I've been part of this magical place for 25 effing amazing years, and I'm really grateful for every single moment." She expressed her excitement for the upcoming transformation and her firm belief that it's the right move for Mainau moving forward. She aims for a smooth transition by year's end.
