International Photography Festival to Showcase Contemporary Art in Krasnodar
The International Photography Festival is set to captivate Krasnodar from October 17 to 26. The event will showcase a variety of exhibitions and workshops, celebrating contemporary photography and its artists.
Kicking off on October 17, the opening event at the Krasnodar Art Museum will introduce visitors to the works of Anastasia Chalaia, who will present an impressionist collage of Krasnodar life. The evening will also feature presentations by authors and curators.
The festival will host a diverse range of photographers. Moscow artist Denis Budilov will display handmade prints, while Kaluga photographer Alena Kochetkova will exhibit her award-winning project 'It Continues', which explores her journey through oncology and motherhood.
On October 18, Irina Chmyreva will deliver a lecture on contemporary photography, accompanied by a multimedia program in the Museum Courtyard. The following day, October 19, lectures and workshops are scheduled in the cultural space.
The International Photography Festival promises a rich exploration of the art form, with a mix of established and emerging talent. Visitors can expect to be inspired and informed by the diverse range of works on display.
