Inquiry: What's your preferred Lehigh merchandise that you still display with pride in wear or utilization?
Lehigh Alumni Cherish Memorable University Memorabilia
A number of Lehigh University alumni have held onto significant memorabilia from their time at the university, turning these items into cherished personal keepsakes. Among these are Beth Haselbach '94, Allyson Lysaght '96, Dan Krouse III '80, and Frankie Trovato '07.
Beth Haselbach '94 owns a sweatshirt from the Class of 1994 and a T-shirt from 1972, which was her first Lehigh merchandise. The bear, a common Lehigh merchandise item, was a constant companion for her throughout her four years at Lehigh. Now, the bear resides in Switzerland.
Allyson Lysaght '96 possesses a sweatshirt she got in 1992 during a tour of Lehigh. Despite its fraying and beaten-up condition, she refuses to part with it. Dan Krouse III '80 owns a shirt from the 1977 National Championship, but the shirt no longer fits him.
Frankie Trovato '07 favors the Champion Lehigh stitched white-ish gray sweatshirt and a flat brim snapback as his preferred wardrobe items.
The Lehigh Alumni Facebook page is currently asking alumni to share their prized Lehigh possessions. The Bulletin may feature alumni who respond to questions on the page. Interestingly, Beth Haselbach's '94 father was excited that Lehigh went coed, as it meant his daughter could follow in his footsteps.
