Innovative interim solution in Kaarst's children's street market, using vacant spaces - a highly commendable idea!
In an exciting development for families in Kaarst, a children's flea market (Kinderflohmarkt) is set to take place at a large event space, courtesy of Marketing Director Peter Schuck. This space, previously used for an art and craft market, is fully equipped with floor tiles, lighting, power outlets, and heating, providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for the event.
The idea for this community-focused market originated from several Kaarster families, aiming to promote sustainability and provide families with affordable options for children's items such as clothes, toys, books, and other baby or kids' goods.
The event, which can accommodate around 100 tables, offers each participant an area of approximately three meters for a trestle table. If you're interested in participating, stand registrations can be sent by email to [email protected]. Anyone who wants to participate is welcome.
The space available for the event is approximately 1,300 square meters. While there is no fee for participating, a donation of 10 euros is requested from each exhibitor to make bookings more binding. The collected donation will be given to the Malteser children and youth leisure facility "Die Insel" on Asternweg.
Rolf Retzlaff, who is mentioned in the context of the event or the space, has written to all Kaarster kindergartens to help spread the word about this community event.
For specific dates and locations, it's best to contact kindergartens in Kaarst directly or look for announcements on local community websites or social media groups focused on Kaarst families. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting community event!
