Wife's restriction imposed by husband on purchasing junk items - Husband's Prohibition on Arabella Kiesbauer Acquiring Second-Hand Goods
In an exciting turn of events, the Austrian adaptation of the popular ZDF show "Bares für Rares" will make its debut on Puls 4 this September. The series, known as "Bares für Rares Österreich," will be hosted by the charismatic Arabella Kiesbauer, a renowned TV personality with a wealth of experience.
Applications for participants are now open and will close on August 31, 2025. Kiesbauer, who hails from Vienna, is set to take over the reins from Willi Gabalier, brother of the folk-rock 'n' roller Andreas Gabalier, who previously hosted the format on ServusTV.
The show follows the same core concept as the original German version, with motivated sellers bringing antiques, heirlooms, or collectibles. These items are first appraised by experts, and sellers then negotiate with dealers to achieve a good price. However, Kiesbauer is set to bring a fresh energy and personal touch to the show, emphasizing the stories behind the items.
Kiesbauer, who has a passion for flea market finds such as old radios and coffee grinders, has been under a shopping ban due to space constraints. With the launch of "Bares für Rares Österreich," she will finally have the opportunity to offer her treasures on the show.
In a statement to the German Press Agency, Kiesbauer wrote about her shopping ban, adding a winking emoji, suggesting a playful tone. She aspires to be the Austrian counterpart to Horst Lichter, the host of the original show.
The exact start date for "Bares für Rares Österreich" on Puls 4 is yet to be confirmed, but the show is scheduled to air this fall. Fans of the original show can look forward to the Austrian version, which promises to be just as engaging and entertaining.
