How a Rejected *Shark Tank* Pitch Turned Into a Thriving Graffiti Business

Paul Watts, founder of Graffiti Removal Service, once pitched his business on Shark Tank in hopes of securing funding. He asked for $350,000 in exchange for a 15% share to expand his Sacramento-based company into a nationwide franchise. None of the Sharks made an offer, but Watts continued growing his venture regardless.

Watts started Graffiti Removal Service after noticing the growing graffiti problem in his city while painting light poles. The company specialises in mobile graffiti removal, using non-toxic, eco-friendly products. During his Shark Tank pitch, he demonstrated the effectiveness of his solution by cleaning a Stop sign on the spot.

Watts’ company survived without Shark Tank backing and still operates in Sacramento. The business continues to offer graffiti removal solutions, though its franchise expansion plans remain unclear. Online sales now form part of its revenue stream.
