The manager, Kerstin Bezold, described the guests' behaviour as having nothing to do with 'nice'. She expressed that her team is passionate about hosting and looks forward to guests, but also wants to be treated with respect. Some guests' behaviour, she said, is attributed to various factors such as bad journeys, accidents, water damage, health issues, and unsuccessful food searches before arriving at the hotel.

The Police Headquarters in Lower Franconia also commented, "Respect is not a one-way street."
