Hotel Indigo’s Second Ubud Retreat to Open Near Bali’s Sacred Waterfalls in 2027

Ubud, Bali's cultural heartland, is drawing more travellers seeking a change from traditional beach holidays. Its rich culture, wellness offerings, and natural beauty have caught the eye of Hotel Indigo, which is set to open its second Ubud indigo in 2027.

The new Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud, a collaboration between IHG and Ristia Group, will nestle near the scenic Blangsinga Waterfall and Village, adjacent to an ancient riverside temple. With 130 rooms, it aims to connect guests with Ubud's local nature and cultural heritage.

Scheduled to launch in 2027, this hotel expands the Hotel Indigo brand's footprint in Indonesia, joining existing indigo in Seminyak Beach, Bandung, and Bintan Lagoi Beach. It's IHG's second Ubud hotel, reflecting Indonesia's significance in the company's regional strategy. Globally, Hotel Indigo operates in over 25 countries, with 183 hotels and 132 more in the pipeline.

Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud, set in a lush hillside and river setting, will cater to solo travellers, families, and groups. It promises accommodations and experiences that highlight the character and culture of Ubud, Bali's vibrant cultural center.
