Home Comes Knocking: Visual Art Displayed on Villafranca de los Caballeros' Window Drapes
The 18th edition of the 'Door to Door' Art Awareness Meeting is set to take place in Villafranca de los Caballeros, Toledo from August 24. This cultural event is part of the 'Arte y Sentimiento De Puerta en Puerta' project, which aims to enhance the culture and tradition of the town.
The theme of this year's event is 'Climate Change and Sustainability'. The works displayed during the meeting will be reproductions on canvas, focusing on environmental destruction and ways to make the world more sustainable.
The event kicks off with an exhibition inauguration on August 8 and 9. Local shops will come out onto the street during these days, and the reproduced works on canvas will be displayed on El Santo Street.
Throughout the month of August, the cultural program offers a variety of activities, including patrimonial routes, tapas, workshops, exhibitions, music, stories, and markets. On August 8 and 9, an artisan market will be held in Spain Square.
A concert of film scores will take place on Saturday, August 9, at 22:00 hours in the patio of the public Miguel de Cervantes school. Cristina Rodríguez and the Debuguis will perform on Sunday, August 10.
The prizes of the 'Paint your curtain' contest will be delivered on Sunday, August 10, at 21:30 hours in the old social center.
