Heading to Cavalier Dalwigk
The Sommer Lounge on Kavalier Dalwigk in Ingolstadt, Germany, is back and running through August 31, 2025. This popular spot among locals is set to host a series of exciting events and special features, particularly on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Thursdays will see regular dance workshops by Studio Polanc, known from "Let's Dance." Upcoming styles include Linedance on August 7, a Mexican Night featuring Latin-style dances on August 14, and a Bachata dance night on August 28.
Fridays and Saturdays will feature special party nights and DJ sets. Highlights include DJ Dieta playing Soul, House, and Disco music on August 16, DJ FRS with Lounge, House, and Disco on August 23, and the Finale "Italian Night" event on August 30.
The rooftop terrace, operated by the Luminous event agency, offers a variety of drinks, including cocktails, selected wines, various beers, non-alcoholic refreshments, coffee specialties, and the popular Canonita Spritz. The terrace transforms into a living room under the open sky, offering Mediterranean flair and a touch of dolce vita.
Fresh sandwiches, hearty cheese platters, sweet pastries, and seasonal snacks are available for those looking for something to nibble on. On Thursdays, free dance courses with Studio Polanc are offered, focusing on Salsa, Bachata, Line Dance, and Latin.
The Sommer Lounge collaborates with regional partners such as Metzgerei Huber, Käsebaron, and Bäckerei Kuttenreich for culinary offerings.
The Sommer Lounge was successfully debuted in summer 2023 and is open every day of the week. On July 26, the second round begins with DJ Sonic and a mobile Canonita bar. The lounge returns to the rooftop terrace of Kavalier Dalwigk in Ingolstadt from July 25 to August 31, 2023. On the opening day, July 25, the first 100 guests receive a complimentary Canonita Spritz.
