Hands-On Gardening Workshop Teaches Seedling Skills in Celle

A new gardening workshop will help locals prepare for the growing season. The 'Time for Green' series in Celle is hosting a hands-on session on sowing and pricking out seedlings. Led by expert Ulrike Tremmel, the event takes place on March 21.

The workshop will teach key skills for starting plants from seed. Participants will learn about sowing techniques, pricking out seedlings, and transplanting. The session also covers ideal growing conditions for different seed types.

During the practical exercises, attendees will work with heirloom varieties of peas, leaf lettuce, orache, onions, and tomatoes. Each person will pot their own plants to take home at the end. The fee for the workshop, including all materials, is €20. Registration is open online at www.celle-heilpflanzengarten.de. Interested gardeners can also sign up by email at heilpflanzengarten@ourwebsite or by phone at (0 51 41) 12 67 20.

The event offers a chance to gain hands-on experience with seed propagation. Participants will leave with newly potted plants and practical knowledge for the season. The workshop is part of Celle's ongoing 'Time for Green' initiative.
