Halle's Neue Residenz Unveils Free Easter Art Exhibition by Local Jobseekers

A new Easter exhibition will open at Halle's Neue Residenz on March 20, 2026. The event showcases artwork from local participants receiving Bürgergeld. Entry is free for all visitors throughout the Easter holidays.

The exhibition features pieces created in two programs: Spectaculum and Kreativwerkstatt. Both initiatives support people without formal employment, helping them develop creative skills. While the exact number of contributors remains undisclosed, the works highlight their dedication and talent.

The project is backed by the Halle (Saale) Job Center. Organisers describe it as a celebration of social inclusion, proving how creativity can strengthen community ties. Visitors can explore the display from its opening at 12 PM on March 20.

The exhibition runs during the Easter break with no admission fee. It offers a chance to see how local programs foster artistic expression among jobseekers. The event also underscores the role of public support in cultural participation.
