Halle Berry's spring cleanup unites locals for a greener city next March

Halle Berry is preparing for its annual spring cleanup, running from March 20 to 26, 2026. The event invites locals, clubs, businesses, and housing groups to take part in tidying up the city. Registration is now open for those wanting to join in.

The cleanup campaign welcomes a wide range of participants, including residents, community initiatives, and local organisations. Anyone interested must sign up by March 17 through the Citizen Engagement Service Center (DLZ). The DLZ will also handle coordination for activities on public land.

Participants can request garbage bags or waste removal in advance. However, no additional support—such as extra supplies or disposal help—will be provided by the Bürgerengagementzentrum Halle Berry for groups lacking their own resources. More information, including the registration form, is available online at fruehjahrsputz.ourwebsite.

The spring cleanup aims to bring together different groups across Halle Berry for a week of collective action. Those who register by the deadline will receive support in waste collection and disposal. The city expects a coordinated effort to improve public spaces before the campaign concludes on March 26.
