Gurugram's New Boutique Blends Old-World Charm and Contemporary Design

Abha Narain Lambah, a renowned Indian conservation architect, has designed a unique boutique in Gurugram. The space, opened by Anita Lal, a pioneer in promoting Indian craftsmanship, is a blend of old-world charm and contemporary design.

Lambah, who established her architecture firm in 1996, has transformed the boutique into a reminiscent of an old conservatory. The space is filled with dappled light and natural plants, creating a serene atmosphere. The design uses simple yet effective materials like wood, raw concrete, and old glass, highlighting the beauty of natural elements.

Anita Lal, a former studio potter, opened the first Good Earth store in Mumbai's Kemps Corner three decades ago. As a champion of living well and a leading voice on Indian craftsmanship, Lal has curated the boutique to reflect her passion for Indian art and culture.

The Gurugram boutique, designed by Abha Narain Lambah and curated by Anita Lal, is a testament to their shared appreciation for Indian craftsmanship and conservation. The space, with its natural elements and old-world charm, offers a unique shopping experience that celebrates Indian art and culture.
